How Matching Will Work
NoBias Recovery's future provider matching will follow these rules. Matching is not live yet: no Verified Providers exist, and matching will launch only after individual providers pass verification.
Required versus preferred criteria
Required criteria are facts a resource must confirm. Preferred criteria only help decide grouping and order; they never decide basic eligibility.
Insurance and coverage
Insurance acceptance (for example Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, or VA benefits) is a standard criterion with three states: confirmed, not-confirmed, or unknown. Unknown stays unknown and shows a “Confirm directly” note; no coverage claim is made for any facility. For people without insurance, programs with verified uninsured or sliding-scale facts will be surfaced when they exist, alongside benefits gateways.
Unknown facts
When a required fact is not confirmed and not disproven, the resource stays eligible and is shown with a “Confirm directly” note. Unknown is never treated as yes or no.
Location
No GPS or precise location is used, stored, or transmitted. A city or ZIP you enter is kept only in memory for the current guide session. Matches use approved service-area scope; distance is unavailable and is never estimated.
Neutral ordering
Eligible resources are grouped by confirmed required facts first, then ordered by verification freshness and confirmed preferences. Exact ties rotate daily in a fixed pattern. Order never means quality, recommendation, or endorsement.
Order does not represent quality, recommendation, or endorsement.
Pagination
Up to 10 results per page. No equally eligible result is hidden, and results are never presented as a ranking or a top list.
No reviews, ratings, or sponsored influence
There are no ratings, reviews, popularity, funding, sponsorship, paid placement, or referral commissions in matching, and none can influence results.
No guarantee
Matching provides options, not guarantees. Confirm availability and details directly with the resource.
When matching launches
Provider matching will launch only after individual providers pass the full verification checklist. Until then, Official Source and Official Directory cards remain the primary starting points, and Demo Data cards stay labeled as examples.
